E-learning stands for electronic learning, which is the process of learning that
utilizes electronic media, especially the internet, as a learning system. Additionally,
it can also serve as attendance recording for male and female students of MAN 1
Jember. This study aims to improve the usability quality of the E-learning website
of MAN 1 Jember according to the perceptions of male and female students. The
data from the research results reveal the level of usability on the E-Learning website
and what aspects need improvement based on the 14 variables of the heuristic
evaluation and webuse methods. By employing these 14 variables, the usability
level can be evaluated according to user experience. The usability level values
based on the 14 principles of the heuristic evaluation and webuse methods are as
follows: H1 78.62%, H2 74.57%, H3 76.09%, H4 77.54%, H5 78.08%, H6 73.26%,
H7 75.33%, H8 75.65%, H9 79.13%, H10 74.24%, WA 75.94%, WB 77.17%, WC
76.09%, WD 76.49%. The research obtains an average feasibility index of 76.30%,
which means that users state that the E-Learning website of MAN 1 Jember is
suitable for use with a percentage of 76.30%.
